What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, credit card, debit card digital payments including Apple Pay, Android Pay, Google Pay and Cash App.
What type of oil do you fry your food in?
We use soybean oil to fry in. We currently don’t use any nut products in our food trucks. You can see all of our ingredient and allergy info here. Allergens
Do you come to apartment communities?
Yes, we require a guaranteed minimum for apartment communities. Our minimum is calculated by length of time at the location and distanced traveled. Complete the booking form to get the process started.
Do you come to neighborhoods?
Yes, we require a guaranteed minimum for neighborhoods. Our minimum is calculated by length of time at the location and distanced traveled. Complete the booking form to get the process started.
What is a “Guaranteed Minimum”?
A guaranteed minimum is the minimum dollar amount required for us to attend an event. For example if we attend a neighborhood food truck Friday event. We show up for the defined time and take orders. As customers pay for their food we run a total. At the end of the event if we did not meet our minimum the guarantor will be responsible for the balance. If we meet or exceed the minimum then nothing is required from the guarantor.
How far do you travel?
We currently travel across the state of NC. We are definitely open to traveling for the right events.
Do you offer catering?
Yes we offer catering with all food cooked in one of our trucks on location. Our minimum catering order is for 100 people.
DO YOU GIVE BACK A DONATION AT EVENTS?
Hot Chix Food Truck Give-Back Policy
At Hot Chix, we are committed to supporting our community by giving back a portion of our sales to local organizations, schools, and nonprofits. To ensure a successful partnership, we have established the following guidelines for our give-back program:
  1. Minimum Sales Requirement – In order for a donation to be made, total sales during the event must meet or exceed a minimum threshold. This ensures that we can cover our operational costs while still making a meaningful contribution.
  2. Donation Percentage – Once the minimum sales threshold is met, Hot Chix will donate a percentage of the total sales (before tax) generated during the event to the designated organization.
  3. Eligible Organizations – Donations are available to registered nonprofit organizations, schools, and community groups that align with our values and mission. Proof of nonprofit status (if applicable) may be required.
  4. Promotion and Attendance – The requesting organization is encouraged to actively promote the event to maximize attendance and sales. The more people who attend and purchase, the greater the donation.
  5. Payment and Processing – Donations will be calculated and processed within 7 days after the event. The organization will receive payment via check or another agreed-upon method.
  6. Scheduling and Approval – All give-back events must be scheduled in advance and approved by Hot Chix management. Participation is subject to availability.
  7. Exclusions – Sales from catering orders, pre-discounted items, or third-party delivery services may not be included in the total sales calculation for the donation.
